I'm Carleen McIlveen, owner of Imagine by Carleen and Imagine Makeup Artistry. I am a photographer, makeup artist and esthetician, working with people to help them find and enhance their best beautiful self. My clients come to me at a variety of stages in their life and I help them through their transitions initially with the services they are seeking and ultimately through a combination of safe and natural products and the additional services I specialize in. My clients leave their sessions with me feeling more confident and more beautiful, often coming back for added sessions. Whether it be a high school senior for makeup and portraits, a bride for skin care and makeup, a new mother for skin care and baby portraits, an empty nester launching her business and in need of website and portrait images, I make the experience enjoyable and comfortable. The best part of my career is I have clients for life and I get to follow them on their journey through life's transitions.

As a highly seasoned FORMER sales executive with sales management and leadership experience I began a small business during a period of unemployment that drove her career to the industry I have always dreamed of working in! By drawing upon my sales and marketing experience in the media industry I built a brand for myself, Imagine by Carleen, gained some additional education in skin care and makeup artistry, along with honing my photography skills and emerged a leader in the business of helping women. The services I offer include but are not limited to a full complement of skin therapy services and products, on-location wedding makeup, and a variety of photography services. This endeavor has led to a full-time position with Dermatologic Cosmetic Laboratories, representing DCL skin care to physicians, for a short time during my transformation. My business grew along side my job until I reached the point that I had to devote all of my time to my personal business clients. I am now 100% committed to my business and continuing with my training in all three disciplines as I work to further brand myself as the go-to person for helping women acheive their BEST natural beauty. My goals are to continue working with skin care and cosmetics by educating clients on the benefits, helping women to look and feel better, and offering them an opportunity to help others do the same, through the consultant programs that both Motives and Apriori Beauty offer. The photography side of my business is my other creative outlet.
